Cold clear day at Quietwoods. 2-3 ft. powder snow around the Ten Mile Lake area. Lynn and Rick shoveled around Unit #2 and enjoyed the fresh look of all that snow. Maybe next time instead of the shovels we will get the cross country skis.

March 7th

It's melting down at Quietwoods. Beautiful, warm day. Spent the day getting firewood ready for those campfires this summer. Spring must be close as 3 trumpeter swans flew over the bay towards a beautiful sunset. Also, witnessed a pair of eagles cavorting in the white pine snag tree on the hill.

Feb 19 - 22

Dave H came up with a group of guys to snowmobile and ice fish and enjoy Unit @ 2. The fish were a bit fussy but they still caught 4 walleyes, 10 northerns and 8 whitefish.
Rick also got out on Friday, Feb 19th wit a friend and puled a crappie out of 46' of water. They caught sunnies as deep as 38'. Also caught a nice catch and release 32" Northern in 24'.
